UPROXX Video is here to celebrate, report on, and increase knowledge around hip-hop and the culture of creativity and progressive thought. In addition to broadcasting the vintage hip-hop videos this channel was built on, we’ll also be launching original programming exploring these themes with the creative minds behind them. Channel History In 2007 this channel was originally intended for SCAN-TV (Seattle Community Access Network) on channel 77 broadcasting to Seattle and surrounding areas. At that time youtube was blowing up, so to take advantage of the chance to reach a global hip hop community here is where we reside. Much respect due to the pioneering spirit of Uncle Ralph McDaniels and the original "Video Music Box". Also to the great Gordon Curvey for the years of bringing Seattle "Music Inner City" on SCAN-TV.
