Mahyar Tousi

I am a classical liberal Conservative political commentator. I was born in Iran and moved to the UK as a child with my mother, escaping Islamist Socialism. Having experienced life under both systems, I have formed a mission to protect and fight for the values of freedom, democracy, and capitalism - the values that gave me and my family a second chance to start again. I am a strong opponent of socialism, big government, and collectivism. ​ I have therefore dedicated my political life to argue that free markets and small government take people out of poverty, improve their health, living standards, and individual liberty. I am currently doing that through publishing video blogs, media appearances and attending debates.
