Paedae da Pralem aka Omar Sterling & Mugeez make up the hip hop duo R2BEES (which stands for Refuse to be Broke). Formed in Ghana, R2BEES has become the top purveyors of the Ghanaian hip hop sub-genre "hiplife," which mixes rap with the sounds of hilife (African pop music) and reggae. Mugeez and Paedae da Pralem independently form the record label R2Bees Entertainment to put out their own product. They immediately signed some of the top hiplife artists like Under, Humble Dis and Criss Waddle. At the 2013 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards R2bees swept the ceremony, taking home six awards including Hiplife Song of the Year and Group of the Year.
