Biafra Voice International - BVI is the media department for Indigenous People of Biafra IOPB customary government to sensitize Biafra on their right to self determination. Biafra people in preparation for their freedom have established what is called a customary government in line with the provision of the constitution and also to exercise their right as Indigenous people as declared by United Nations, on September 13th 2007. • As defined by U.N, Generally indigenous people are those that have historically belonged to a particular region or country, before its colonization or transformation into a nation state, and may have different—often unique—cultural, linguistic, traditional, and other characteristics to those of the dominant culture of that region. Biafra people are indigenous occupying the same geographic area for more than 10 centuries before it lost its sovereignty to colonization and transforming most part of its territory into a Nation state called Nigeria.
