Chocolate City

Welcome to Chocolate City Homeschool Life. This channel is all about homeschooling as a lifestyle and homeschooling young African (American) young men in particular. I also want to chronicle my oldest son's final year of homeschool. He's graduating in 2019. We did it all the way through!! You'll see vlogs on our day-to-day life, travel, healthy living, the Sankofa Homeschool Community and maybe even a few pranks (if my youngest has anything to do with it). I have been homeschooling for 18 years and co-founded the Sankofa Homeschool Community in 2004 (www.sankofahomeschool.org). I have been homeschooling as a single mom (widow) for the past decade. I have so much to share because homeschooling is so much more than curriculum and co-ops. This channel was inspired by my blog, Chocolate Covered Boy Joy.
