The Seereer
The Seereer Resource Centre (SRC) was founded in order to provide support services for education and research in the languages (Seereer-Siin, Saafi-Saafi, Ndut, Sili-Sili, Noon and Laalaa), culture, history, religion and herbal medicinal practices of the Seereer people of Senegal, Gambia and Mauritania. We have a huge database of resources relating to all things Seereer (variations: Serer, Sérère or Sereer) and regularly hold events and networking opportunities that helps to connect the Seereer community. In January 2016, we launched our 24 hour live streaming talk and music radio station - Seereer Radio as part of our educational initiative. Look forward to topical discussions and exclusive interviews on matters relating to Seereer religion, history and culture, and of course Seereer and general Senegambian music.
