InZane Travels

I was born with a travel bug. Travelling has been my passion, my obsession since I was 10 years old. And I have been privileged to see many stunning places of the world and I want to see many more. I have to quote National Geographic here: "I haven't been everywhere. But it's on my list". In 2011, soon after my daughter's birth, I suffered retinal detachment (due to having severe myopia). Being told I might lose my eyesight, has made me even more determined to enjoy every minute I spend on this beautiful Earth and make it count. Luckily, my husband and daughter share my obsession. It can be challenging to travel with a young child, it does make it more complicated, there are things that we have to bypass. Nevertheless it is so rewarding. My daughter's excited squeal when she saw the geyser erupting in Iceland brought joy to my heart. When she could recognize all sort of animals, their shadows and even skeletons after our trip to Kruger National Park, it filled me with pride.
