IIP Interactive

What is Interactive? Interactive is a global outreach team that works with the Bureau of International Information Programs at the U.S. Department of State. Our mission is to connect the world through interactive web chats featuring experts, opinion makers, U.S. government officials and community activists. All programs are free and provide a dynamic forum for open discussion on topics such as U.S. policy, society, values, and a range of other bilateral issues. Who can join an Interactive program? IIP Interactive programs are open to all international audiences via the Internet. They are accessible in even limited-bandwidth environments such as Iraq and Afghanistan. Interactive has produced over 1,000 programs in collaboration with posts in more than 100 countries to promote key messages important to their program objectives.
