Stanford Seed
Stanford Seed is a Stanford Graduate School of Business-led initiative that partners with entrepreneurs in emerging markets to build thriving enterprises that transform lives, with the ultimate vision of ending the cycle of global poverty.
Stanford Seed brings the power of innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership to established businesses and their leaders — on the ground and in their communities, through the Seed Transformation Program. This one-year, part-time program supports established entrepreneurs as they scale their businesses, create jobs, and lead their regions to greater prosperity.
Stanford Seed was established in 2011, implemented in West Africa in 2013, in East Africa in 2016, and expanded to India and Southern Africa in 2017.
