African guitar music fan. Question: How do I go about learning to play soukous guitar? Answer: Any number of ways. Best way would be to play in a band and learn by playing with experienced musicians. But unfortunately most of us don't have that opportunity. Some great singers and musicians learnt their trade in church choirs, and transferred their skills to play rumba.
