Homestead Dad

We started this journey in 2013, of building our Homestead in Southern Michigan and moving onto it. My amazing wife(who doesn't like to be on camera) and our six children are living the dream every day. I fail more days than I'd like to admit(think fast food), but we are working towards providing more and more of our own resources. To that end we have chickens, turkeys, ducks, sheep, pigs, a milking Jersey, and a beef cow. We currently homeschool all of our children, with the help of a co-op and some online courses, it mostly works for us. I have an abundance of interests including anything diy, building, forging, welding, permaculture, learning anything, solar, water conservation, gardening, orchard, grafting, and really just about anything.
