Background information of the show ‘The Woman’ The woman is a one hour TV Talk Show that goes on air every Saturday 10am -11 am and is rebroadcasted on Wednesday 5pm-6pm.’The Woman’ profiles successful women using their stories to inspire other women. The program also treats women’s issues such as women’s human rights, health, culture, politics, and economics all these aimed at educating and empowering women to lead meaningful and fulfilled lives. The program has been on air for over three years and has had guests drawn from all spheres of life but with an interest on women’s issues. The woman is equally actively involved on the fields. A segment of the program consists of documentaries of targeted women who recount on the spot their challenges, difficulties and successes.
