CARACAL Botswana

CARACAL is a not-for-profit organisation affiliated with Virginia Tech's Alexander Lab and operating out of Kasane in Northern Botswana. Our activities are primarily research-based, including work on human-wildlife interactions, water-quality analysis, epidemiology, human health, and forestry and natural resource use. We are also active in community outreach and empowerment, conservation education, and wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. This channel is dedicated to publicising all of the above activities and operations in order to highlight the crucial role CARACAL plays in the Chobe region. Our content is designed to broaden the organisation's impact and support-base and to provide a set of educational tools, resources, and materials of the highest quality and utility to our global audience.
