Ndebele Students

The establishment of this association is concerned with accommodating Ndebele students as they form part of the vast minority groups on campus who are not represented accordingly with regards to culture and tradition, that I believe are components essential to every African person who finds themselves estranged from their community. It is important to note that the institution disadvantages/does not recognize important practices that Ndebele students need to engage in (e.g. initiation school). The association is obliged to represent the students to university management with regards to such issues rotating that involve cultural & traditional practices. The second primary reason for the formation of the association is to unify Ndebele students, create programs or platforms that will assist them to perform well academically and increase the number of Ndebele graduates. The association is to educate its members about the Ndebele culture and tradition.
