Caesar Darias
Caesar has more than 25 years of experience working as a television and print journalist. He also teaches video production.
Recently while working as a freelance reporter for NorthJersey.com, Caesar was the first journalist to report the LG court decision (a case followed by every major newspaper in the New York metro area), and the failure of the City of Hackensack to bill the school district for police services for seven years. He filed several Superstorm Sandy reports, and reported extensively on Hackensack's quality of life initiative and the impact of the homeless population.
Caesar has been recognized for his work with six New York Emmy Awards and the Edward R. Murrow Award in the News Documentary category.
These videos represent some of Caesar's current and past work. I am now working as an independent reporter. Many of these reports are run-and-gun/one-man-band shoots. Don't expect 4K productions with perfect lighting.
