Raleigh International is a sustainable development charity. We challenge and empower young people and communities to deliver grassroots sustainable development. We work in rural communities focusing on access to safe water and sanitation, protecting vulnerable environments and building community resilience. We work in collaboration with volunteers, communities and local partner organisations. Raleigh International also runs International Citizen Service, a UK government funded development programme that brings together young people to make a difference in some of the poorest communities around the world. Raleigh works in Tanzania, Borneo, India, Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
