Born in Southern Cameroons, son of the Fon (ruler) Jorembeng ll of the Funam - Meta Fondom. His Father,The Fon, a sound collector of African Highlife, Juju Music and blues was his first contact with the sounds that were to later shape his Art... later when the last element - ‘HIP HOP’ was to complete the puzzle. As Member of the hip hop trio ‘the Ilkeez’ ,he met his first challenges that will push him into studying music production, for producers and studios could not give him the sounds that he was searching. He will later study Theatre Arts, 3D design and Jazz music. In 2007 after the founding of his studio ‘JuJUNKCITY’ and label ‘JUJUCRACY’,he was called by the British Council to represent Cameroon in a UK/Africa Music tour called ‘Bring The Noise’ under the name Kunta Ali. This project and the encounter with other cultures was a birth of a new quest for a new sound and something more to his art.
