GONGUE
I am a cuban trumpet player and grew up surrounded by music. My professional experience took off as I simultaneously began my studies at Escuela Profesional de Música "José White" and performed with The Symphonic Orchestra of Camagüey. I moved to Havana and started recording for several artists, performing on numerous festivals with some of Cuba’s greatest stars, performing in television and radio programs, and documentaries. Soon after, I started my international career performing with various artists in Europe and Latin America: Omara Portuondo from Buena Vista Social Club, Felix Valoy from Afro Cuban All Stars, Rolo Martínez from Cubanismo, Grammy winner René Luis Toledo, Son del Nene, Alexander Abreu & Habana de Primera to name a few. In 2010 I moved to Berlin, where I became a member of Berlin Big Band, and started my own bands: Cubanaché (Salsa) and Kind of Cuban (Cuban Jazz)
