My children are now adults, successful members of society and pursuing their passions in life. Now, where does that leave ME? I'm Ms. Yawnie and this channel is my journey to self discovery and my attempt to reclaim a 'NEW" life that is solely dedicated to living my BEST LIFE. I'm at a time in my life where I've questioned.... is working, shopping, watching Netflix, playing with your children or grandchildren (which I thankfully don't have yet) :-) scrolling social media, etc. retiring at 65 years old (maybe) SMH then you're lucky to not end up in a "nursing home".... my point is guys: Are we suppose to just work and DIE? I decided to take my first solo trip in 2016 and it changed my life. I've been to Cuba, Cayman Island, Germany, France, Japan and my next trip which I plan to share is to West Africa. Ghana, Togo, Benin, Senegal, Gambia in August 2018. Come join me as I discover a new ME without the attachment of the title 'MOM". Who am I without the responsibilities?
