Dareminder Blackseed

Is a Kenyan born Reggae and Dancehall artist. His roots tracing from Siaya town, a place known for its different styles of music within the Luo culture such as Nyatiti, Ohangla and Benga among others. Dareminder Blackseed is mainly inspired by conscious freedom and empowerment musicians like Peter Tosh, Philip “Lucky” Dube and in Kenya the late Mighty King Kong among many other Reggae icons. These musicians inspired him to continue believing in freedom for all. Dareminder Blackseed’s style of Reggae music is authentic to his Luo culture and fits into the international Roots scene. Dareminder Blackseed believes in self expression and natural free flow of life. He also advocates for full party life because death is compulsory and the only option everyone has in life is to be happy and meet new people to always learn, care and share.
