ZIM LINK

Zim Link aims to promote the free exchange of information and knowledge with local people through film, media and photography. Our first project will be to travel to Zimbabwe and use film and photography to empower individuals to work together to create better understanding of the world around us. We will join together with our brothers and sisters to learn and transform our understanding, creating new links to encourage a better understanding of the planet we live in. As part of the trip we will be taking camera's and equipment to be donated to some of the village schools so that children can have them to work with. We will be exchanging skills in web design, blogging and social media with the schools. We will also be documenting the journey and creating a short film to share with Zimbabwe and the world. This project will be run in collaboration with Media4youth and has the potential to create new partnerships with Zimbabwe and empower individuals and organisations www.zimlink.org
