David Kirton

David Kirton's songs take us places, make us laugh, sing in the shower, dance where we are standing and lift our spirits. Hailing from the Eastern Caribbean island of Barbados, Kirton has been steadily building his own unique sound embodying the best of the old reggae rhythms with the guitar driven songs he writes. Kirton says “ My progression as an artist came because I was more relaxed, didn’t try to fit into a trendy box, just let my songs flow". This Barbados Music Award winning singer delivers innovative videos that include Art, stunning visuals of Barbados and island life. CSI's Gary Dourdan, Venice based artist William Attaway and Caribbean and Brazilian Models make cameos in various videos. Kirton was the first Non Jamaican Artist signed to RAS Records and has toured with Joseph 'Culture' Hill, Third World, Maxi Priest, Steel Pulse and Queen Omega.
