My name is Alexa Donne and I am a YA author whose debut novel, BRIGHTLY BURNING, will release from HMH Teen on May 1, 2018. It's a YA retelling of Jane Eyre set IN SPACE! As a part of the growing Authortube community, the aim of my channel is to share my debut publishing journey. I'm all about Real Talk when it comes to books, writing and publishing. I have lots of industry knowledge from many years both in the query trenches, as well as some real bumps on the road to publication. I'm always happy to answer questions, and talk about writing with everyone. I also love to gush about things I love, so you'll find the occasional video on skincare, beauty, and college admissions (really!).
