ABC RN

With over 60 distinct programs each week, ABC's RN is different from any other media network in Australia. Google have launched a paid subscription service YouTube Red, providing subscribers with advertising-free streaming of content. The launch of the this service requires us to have the rights of all our content on YouTube cleared for commercial exploitation. Regrettably, the ABC does not have the resources available to do this for the range of music videos that are currently on the RN YouTube channel. Therefore, we have chosen to remove our music videos from YouTube to ensure we are doing the right thing for the underlying rights holders in these videos – the artists. New music videos and highlights from our back catalogue will find a home on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/radionational).
