Trans World
Trans World Sport is the world's longest running weekly television sports programme. Made in London by IMG, we launched in early May 1987 and have been in continuous production ever since. Since our very first show, our objective has remained the same; to bring our viewers the most interesting and most informative stories from the wide world of sport. No territory has been outside our field of vision in search of the top names and events, along with the off-beat and esoteric. Featuring up-and-coming sporting talent has long been a mainstay of the show. Early scoops included features on a 14-year-old Tiger Woods and on a 12-year-old Venus Williams and her 11-year-old sister, Serena. To date, we're proud to have filmed in 188 out of 204 IOC nations and covered almost every single sport imaginable.
