A World

59 million children out of school. Hundreds of millions more not learning. We are here to change that. A World at School is the movement to get 59 million children into school and learning. We can meet the UN Millennium Development Goal and realise the right of every child around the world to have a quality primary school education by the end of 2015. We give a platform to youth and adults alike from all corners of the globe to from the young girl advocates of Pakistan and Nigeria, to policy makers operating at the highest levels of government, to make the case for education and its impact on individuals, communities and countries. Our champions include the UN Special Envoy for Education and UN agencies, the Global Partnership for Education, Education International and other teachers' organisations, and the Global Business Coalition for Education, and we work with hundreds of organisations who are working on the ground to provide access to quality education.
