Our Thundering

Join our family as we live life in Jinja, Uganda. We are from Tennessee but are currently in Uganda as I teach Chemistry at a secondary school there. We are a family created by adoption with 5 crazy kids and 4 dogs across two different continents. Our life is full of adventure as we often travel during our school breaks and live daily life in a place where monkeys and crocodiles roam. We love Jesus, traveling, the beach, Harry Potter, and queso cheese dip. Our children earned the name the Thundering Herd from their grandfather known as Pops. Pop's house is one of the quietest calmest houses I know. That is until the grand kids come and visit. He says they sound like a herd coming through and the name has stuck.
