YouTube is a paradise for lovers of popular music from the 1920:s and 1930:s. I subscribe to all uploaders of that genre that I can find and there are plenty. I listen to them every day. I play the cornet and banjo. I have no records of my own any more though.
The films that I upload are from my ultra HD 4K camera.
To appreciate my 4K videos you need a UHD 4K TV with a Google Chrome HTML5 YouTube app or an up to date computer connected to the TV with HDMI 2.0 and use Chrome as browser. You also need more than 40 Mbps broadband. At 2160p (UHD 4K) resolution you can pause the video to study text, signs and details at very close distance. You should sit at 1-2X the width of your screen. Right click the YouTube video nerd information and you will see the ethernet connection speed which sometimes can go too low and the resolution pops down to 1080p. Don´t forget to put it back to 2160p manually. Watching my videos on a phone, iPad, TV or a computer with only HD 1080 or 720p is boring.
